Kairete! I updated my OS to Windows 10 from 8. This seemed to be going well, until I couldn't figure out how to type in Greek anymore in a Word doc. I have done all of this before, but it has been a while and nothing I've been trying seems to be working.
Polytonic Greek On Windows 10
I downloaded some fonts, tried to use them. Only the Roman letters are showing up. I added Greek as an 'Editing Language' in the preferences, but it says 'not enabled.' Clicking on that takes me to the Language options in Control Panel, where I have Greek available. I even tried changing the default language in Word to Greek and it just changes it back to English immediately. Also, under 'Proofing' in Office Language preferences it is 'Not installed.' When I click on that, it directs me to buy a language pack for 24.95. I don't understand! I just want to make some helpful Greek handouts for my students. If anyone can offer assistance, I would greatly appreciate it!
